Muscat, Oman – Sultan Qaboos University (SQU) will mark the 40th anniversary of its opening on Monday. The ceremony will be held in the university’s Grand Hall at the Cultural Center and will be hosted by His Excellency Mr. Yazan bin Haitham Al Saeed, Deputy Prime Minister for Economic Affairs. The event, themed “Extended Impact,” will celebrate four decades of national, scientific and intellectual contributions. It will highlight SQU’s role in developing human capital, producing knowledge, and shaping the future through an integrated system that places the individual at the heart of education and uses knowledge as the foundation for research and innovation.
