4.2 Magnitude Earthquake Strikes Near Trinidad and Tobago

On July 12, 2025, at 10:14 AM local time, a 4.2 magnitude earthquake was detected near the coast of Trinidad and Tobago. The earthquake’s epicenter was located at a depth of 10 km, with coordinates at latitude 11.01N and longitude 61.99W. Cities in proximity to the epicenter include Port of Spain, approximately 66 km northwest, Arima about 88 km northwest, and San Fernando, 102 km northwest.
