The daytime maximum temperature in the city is expected to reach about 31 °C, with the New Territories slightly warmer by one to two degrees. Winds are light, blowing from the north to the northeast. Tomorrow is forecast to remain largely sunny, though wind speeds are expected to increase and cloud cover will gradually build. Over the next couple of days, the dry northeast monsoon will continue to dominate Guangdong, keeping skies generally clear. By mid‑week, stronger winds and increasing cloudiness are anticipated as the monsoon deepens along the southern coast. A tropical storm, Qiaopi (薔琵), is currently located roughly 690 km southwest of Kagoshima, Japan. It is moving northeast at about 22 km h⁻¹, crossing the East China Sea and weakening. The system will then head toward the Kyushu region and is expected to transition into a mid‑latitude cyclone.
