$26K Jewellery Theft at Trinidad AirBnB

In a bold act of theft, two foreign visitors to Trinidad and Tobago are left reeling from their losses. They had been staying at an AirBnB in Port of Spain when the incident occurred in the early hours of March 27th, 2026. The women had invited two men, who were strangers to them, to their temporary residence to socialise.

The men, both of African descent, had contrasting appearances. One was slim-built with braided hair and was clean-shaven. His companion sported an afro hairstyle and beard, and was clad in dark jeans and a grey t-shirt.

After spending some time at the apartment, the pair took their leave. However, shortly after their departure, the residents discovered a shocking scene. Jewellery, including a chain and a pair of Trinidad and Tobago earrings, was missing. The total value of these items was estimated to be around $26,000.

On realising the magnitude of the theft, the women attempted to pursue the suspects. But, the men had vanished as swiftly as they had appeared. The matter was promptly reported to the Woodbrook police who are currently investigating the case.
