On November 8, a fatal traffic accident occurred in the Kotayk region of Armenia. At approximately 07:50 am, a Mitsubishi vehicle traveling northbound on the Yerevan‑Sevan highway, about 30 km from the city, left the roadway, struck a tree, and then collided with metal barriers. According to photojournalist Gagik Shamshyan, who was on the scene, the driver died at the site. The car was registered to 23‑year‑old Sveta A., a resident of Kotayk. Preliminary reports indicate that the driver was also Sveta A. The incident has been reported to local authorities for further investigation.
