A total of 209 officers from the Rwanda National Police have successfully completed a six-week intensive training program focused on urban crowd management. The training covered VIP protection, crowd control, protest de-escalation, and restoring public order. The graduation ceremony took place on July 23, 2026, and was presided over by Deputy Police Chief CP Vincent Sano. This initiative aims to enhance police readiness in handling urban security challenges, including public demonstrations and high-profile events.
