Islamabad – Finance Minister and Railway Minister Bilal Azhar Kayani announced that the number of users conducting digital transactions in Pakistan has surpassed two million.
During a meeting in Islamabad, Kayani met with a high‑level delegation from the Bill & Gates Foundation. The delegation included Dr. Kulpana Kochhar, acting president of the Global Policy and Advocacy Division.
Kayani highlighted the significant growth in digital transactions, noting that the increase reflects broader efforts to promote electronic payments and financial inclusion across the country.
