$1M Ransom Demanded for Missing Airline Pilot

The search is still ongoing for the missing Caribbean Airlines pilot, Captain Daniel Kawall. A senior police investigator has confirmed that a ransom demand has been made for his safe return. According to the officer, the Anti-Kidnapping Unit has taken the lead on the case due to the ransom demand. He revealed that a message was received early Friday morning demanding a ransom of approximately one million dollars. The ransom demand was reportedly received by one of Kawall’s relatives.
