18-Year-Old Woman Arrested for Attempting to Use Forged Documents at Licensing Office

An 18-year-old woman was arrested on Tuesday for allegedly presenting forged documents at a Licensing Office in Caroni. The incident occurred around 2:30 p.m. when a clerk noticed suspicious documents during a transaction and alerted the Caroni Police Station. Officers quickly responded, interviewing staff and collecting related documents. The suspect, from Dookiesingh Street, St. Augustine, was approached by police, informed of the allegations, and chose to remain silent after making some statements. She was arrested and taken to the Caroni Police Station, where she is currently in custody while investigations continue.
