On 29 October 2026 the Supreme Court of Mongolia held a criminal‑oversight session to discuss four cases involving Ц.Давгадорж, Э.Ган‑Эрдэнэ, Э.Номин‑Эрдэнэ and Х.Энхсайхан. The cases were brought to the court by the victim’s legal representative, G.Отгонтуяа, and the prosecutors B.Солонго, M.Баасанбат, R.Булгамаа, Z.Хүрэлсүх and B.Баатарсайхан. According to Article 12.11 of the Law on Courts, proceedings that are not specifically exempted are open to the public. However, Article 3.2 of the Law on Criminal Case Oversight allows the court to decide whether a hearing is open or closed in order to protect the rights and interests of victims, witnesses, minors and their legal representatives. Because the cases involve minors, the court held the preliminary hearing and the oversight session in a closed setting. The court also decided that the final decision would be read aloud to the public and subsequently published on the Supreme Court’s website. The court’s decision will be made public after the hearing, in accordance with the provisions of Article 3.2(3) of the Law on Criminal Case Oversight, which requires the court to announce the outcome of a closed hearing.
