Откриха над 10 000 кутии цигари в коли за Германия на Дунав мост

Customs officials and border police seized a total of 10,185 cartons of cigarettes during inspections near the Danube Bridge in Ruse and Vidin. The tobacco products were found in a light vehicle and a truck traveling to Germany, the Customs Agency reported. In the first case, a light vehicle with a Bulgarian registration was stopped near the Danube Bridge in Ruse at the end of last week. The driver said he was heading to Germany. Customs officers discovered 905 cartons of cigarettes hidden in the factory compartments of the vehicle’s front and rear compartments. In the second inspection, a truck with a Bulgarian registration was stopped near the Danube Bridge in Vidin, also traveling to Germany. The officers found 9,280 cartons of cigarettes from various brands inside the vehicle. All seized tobacco products from the two inspections bore Bulgarian excise labels. Administrative violation acts were prepared under the Excise and Tax Warehouse Law for each case. During a separate inspection on the Trakia motorway in Stara Zagora yesterday, authorities confiscated an additional 40,000 short cigarettes of various brands without excise labels. These were found in a light vehicle.
